Winchester Model 59 Serial Number Range|Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

Does anyone have any idea of the Winchester Model 59 serial number range?  I have one with a serial number of 1110.  I remember reading somewhere that the very first Winchester Model 50 shotgun wore serial number 1000.  If the same holds true for the Model 59, I have an early gun.  That’s what I suspect since the gun doesn’t have most of the features of a standard Model 59, i.e. no receiver engraving; Model 59 not stamped on the receiver; no gold trigger group or bolt release.  I know Model 59 records were lost in a fire, so serial number tracking is difficult.  I’d appreciate any help.  Thanks.
