Im new here!
My name is Guillaume and im from quebec canada
I have bough a winchester model 1897 here. But there is something on the stock and i want to know if its oem special edition or something or its been added by now.
On my stock the is 2 wolf in gold sheet 2 on each side. Its seem like its under the stock finish surface.
I want to know if someone have ever seen that before!

The stock on your Model 1897 was reworked aftermarket (not a factory option).

I have no idea what the market value for it would be in Canada. The altered stocks would negatively affect the value here in the U.S.
