Hi folks,
I have a Win. 12/12 ga. with a recently installed new action slide handle (forend). The screw cap hits the magazine lug when you attempt to release the action by pushing forward on the handle, simulating recoil.
Is it advisable to slightly trim the front of the wood so as to set the screw cap farther back; and, hence allow the handle to move forward more to release the action? Are there other options?
Thanks,
Barry
