I’ve convinced myself that a 20 ga Model 12 Skeet gun would be a fun shooter. There’s no reason to beat myself up with a 12 ga on the skeet field and dropping to a sub gauge is the solution I’m considering. I also enjoy shooting an old Model 12 now and then, even the Perazzi owners take notice when I pull one out of the truck. I fondled one today and nearly bought it but I fished my handy tape measure out of my pocket while I was considering it. Barrel measured 25 inches. The rib is correctly cut but the muzzle has a bit of a bevel and the WS-1 choke constriction is gone. Wood has numerous handling marks consistent with use as a kid’s/loaner gun. It’s a nice gun, fits me well, but it’s priced ($1400) like the collector it will never be. Bummer.
