OfflineIt’s been a while since I have logged in to the site and I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I thought it would be a good starting place.
I have a solid frame 1897 12g. shotgun manufactured April, 1918 . It takes a type 4 action slide, however the one currently on it was a replacement installed by the Winchester factory sometime in the 1950’s. Although it’s in perfect working condition, it doesn’t have the type 4 markings as would be correct for the gun. If anyone has this part, I’d be interested in picking one up.
Hopefully I’ll hear from someone.
Thanks!
