Very neat, thanks for the pictures.  Have never seen a Model 36 with gold trimmings.

I wish we could still get the Winchester 9mm shot shells for $4.95 per box………

Cool little gun, certainly something we don’t see every day. Thanks for posting pics.

Cartridges are still available. Those are very nice, collectible boxes you have!

I have had extraction problems with the Fiocchi ammo. The brass seems very hard and does not seem to spring back as it should. The spent casings need to be knocked out with a dowel rod. I have a handful of the old original Winchester shells and fired one just to see if it extracted and it worked fine. The fiocchi’s I have are pretty old, maybe the newer stuff works better………..

I have some older 9mm Fiocchi (15yr+) and it extracts fine out of mine.  Is your chamber dirty or pitted?

Hi JWA,

Sorry for the delayed response, I had shoulder surgery yesterday and trying to regain my train of thought…….

The chamber on mine looks pretty nice. What I need to do is check the case expansion of a fired round. The spent casings look good with no obvious scrapes or bulges due to chamber issues. It will be a while before I can put my other arm back to use. Until then all I can do is look at my projects.Frown
