New to forum and looking for some help on identifying a 16ga Mdl 97 Break Down with a C stamp and serial number 98099. One site says its was made in 1901 and another says 1900. Can anybody tell which? Thank you for your time/help.

April 1900.

What is the barrel length and choke marking?  Standard was 28″ and FULL.
