Model 24|Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

I’m looking for any factory assembly build manual for the 24. I acquired two a few years back one was bubba bad. got it working 100% smooth and tight action. The other is going to be a good candidate for a rebuild- conservation the stocks need replacing may even color case hardened frame who knows?. been smithing for about 30 years so have the ability just having a hard time taking away from factory for historical reasons but not very collectable. Tough decision but I’ll figure it out lol

Finding any real information is tough. The model 24 to me was a victim of timing. Introduced during the depression then went through WW2 when all efforts were war efforts. Then coming home after the war the depression was over mid priced guns were dropped for nicer guns. Shame really it’s a good gun that shares a lot of similarities to the most desirable feel in today’s over and unders.
