Can anyone confirm how many were made? i’ve seen posts elsewhere where people indicated 900 were made but I’ve seen a serial number in the 9xx which would mean up to 1000 were made.
Anyone know?
just to confirm I’m talking about the Model 23 Classic in 410 and not the “golden quail” version.
thanks
If I remember rightly, back in about 1985 and 1986, 500 Model 23 Classic shotguns were made each year in 28 gauge and .410 bore.So 1000 28 gauge guns and 1000 .410 bore Classic shotguns.Somewhere I have paper on the Classic 28 gauge and 410 shotguns.Catalogues from that era.
