I’ve been searching for a “stock” – not custom Model 21 in all original condition for a while now. I’ve come across a decent number fitted with Hawkins pads. Curious as to Winchester using them since there’s also the red rubber Winchester pad which we’re all familiar with. Any education would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Winchester listed No-Shoc, and Silvers recoil pads as special items (in addition to their own Winchester patented solid red rubber pad). I have never seen mention of Winchester using Hawkins pads. On a Model 21, I would be highly suspicious of any recoil pad other than the Winchester product.

Little John’s just took in a Model 21 28 ga. pigeon grade. I think the butt pad is non factory. I don’t know 21’s but this looks to be a Winchester custom made really nice looking gun. You need to contact them for pictures. I don’t know if he bought it or took it on consignment? May be in his Dec. auction?
