I’m looking for a clean, unmolested single-trigger example to add to my collection in either field, skeet or trap grade. Are there any recommended dealers on Gun Broker, etc. I could count on to provide honest examples for sale. Or course I am willing to pay the premium of buying off an expert since I currently do not have that expertise. I occasionally look at what Connecticut Shotguns has and would assume they would be selling or describing honest guns?? Thanks!!

I’ve never done business with Connecticut Shotguns but have visited with them at trade shows, seem to be good folks. I believe they’ll be at the Dallas Safari Club show later this month; last year they had quite a few nice guns.

Don’t know where you are located but I believe I would try long-time WACA member Larry Orr at Larry’s Gun Room in Beresford, SD 605 763-5090. He has nice used Winchesters in high condition and usually had one or two Model 21s on his show tables.

Thanks Guys! Perhaps I’ll give Larry a call. I’m in Pa. I was looking to see some on-line auctions from known dealers to get a feel for price vs. condition, etc. There are a couple Colt Dealers (Lumberjack, etc.) whos reputations are unimpeachable so you know you are getting the real deal, albeit at a premium price.
What would the factory LOP on a field grade be – 14″ or 14.25″?? I believe most others were customized.
