- I have a model 21 12ga I got from my grandfather when he passed away. I was trying to find out more about it. Not alot out there about them

I highly recommend that you start by contacting the Cody Firearms Museum records office and obtain a factory letter. It will give you a number of details about your Model 21, including who it was originally ordered/purchased by.
