I found this at a LGS and took a picture. This stock is dished out unlike anything I have seen. The crazy thing is there isn’t a SINGLE sign of a refinish. Wood is high over the metal at the front and rear as it should be. It has normal honest wear. Not a single sanding mark ANYWHERE! There are some good people out there at woodworking but this is just so natural up close. I actually decided to throw it up and see…actually felt pretty good. Mike,

I have my grandfather’s 1927 vintage Model 12 with nearly the same type of dished stock.  It is a standard Field grade gun, but with a 32″ Solid Ribbed barrel.

This one has checkered stocks as seen. Its a mid 40’s gun with a vent rib and 30″ barrel. They wanted 600 and I thought about buying it because of the cool factor. Gun is 70%+.

I think Fajen offered a replacement stock similar to that one (there was one on GI last week} .  Something about the checkering looks like R. Fajen  but may be stock. What dose the fore-end look like .
