It looks like it could be a factory pad. It has the correct patent date and markings on it.

I’m voting for a reproduction pad. The main thing that identifies a reproduction is the spacing between the date and the year on the patent date. This one doesn’t look like it has the factory spacing–very close.

I’m also suspicious when the hole filler plugs are below the surface of the pad. Winchester installed pads were flush with the surface.
