A freind wants to sell a Model 37 .410 1950s in new condition. It looks brand new, but the lever tilts to the right when the action is closed. More than just a little. I can’t believe Winchester would leave it like that, but the gun has seen little or no use. Could it be right?

Not sure if this helps but my CZ shotgun also has the lever off to one side and the gun is as new.
