SN of this one is 21647. Should be a 1st year gun. I haven’t even checked it yet, but that’s what the seller says. Hasn’t ben shot in 20 years.

It should have a 2-digit year number stamped on the bottom of the barrel.

No, the bottom of the barrel is clean as a whistle. No marks or stamps , nada. What I meant was, the serial number is correct, but I don’t know about the first year. They started at 1,000.

Maybe it’s a replacement barrel, I had three of them for my first one.

Well, the SN is a first year, 1954 according to proofhouse.
