I found a model 12 ’20 gauge’ pump that i am trying to validate that the features listed add up. The S/N is 165XXXX and the description says:
Skeet grade with Vented Rib Barrel. (picture shows the ribbed Barrel)
Checkered Forearm
Poly Choke ( shown in picture)
Matching Serial Number
Pistol Grip Checkered Stock
2 rounds
Here is the big question… it says 22″ barrel. is that even possible? was it measured wrong? did they make a 22″ barrel ?

Your description of the gun leads me to believe that it is not factory original. Specifically the barrel length and Poly Choke.

Thanks for your feedback. After my digging around in charts and forums that was my thought so thank you for helping me confirm. Will pass on that purchase.
An additional question.. if a choke is added aftermarket, do they just add on or cut the barrel so that the overall measure remains the same?

If an aftermarket choke device is installed, the original barrel must be shortened enough to remove the original factory internal (integral) choke.
