I purchased an 1887 this weekend with the wrong type forends hopping I could find original one for a 10 gauge. I have found aftermarket made in China but rather not go that direction. Thank you for any help Jim

Best bet is to find another gun and rob the parts.  I had to do this years ago to get a butt plate.  I then resold the gun for what I paid for it.  The screws look the same but one is longer than the other.  I am not sure if the 1901 wood is the same?
