I have no affiliation with this sale but may present a good opportunity for obsolete ammo.

Wow, I paid a little over $3/round a few years back for relatively recent manufacture ammo. Glad I scored some brass and bullets before things got too crazy. $5.75 sounds almost reasonable.

“a few years back” is the key part of your statement. I never anticipated things would change so much for us semi-obsolete cartridge shooters.

Good golly I’m glad I reload!
Couldn’t agree more. I may spend a pile of money on dies, moulds and related tools but I can make it look like I’m saving money while shooting old “obsolete” cartridges.

Yup – once you have the equipment, shooting lead-bulleted low-power loads can be very inexpensive. I enjoy that aspect of it. Paying $300-$600 for a set of dies can make a hit on the fun aspect.
