I too would love to see some period photos of pretty much any part of the factory. I have not come across many at all. I posted a couple on a different thread a while back. But if anyone comes across or has amassed a large collection of factory photos would love to see them.
As far as I know there isn’t any website that is chuck full of factory photos. A while back I came across a photographer guy’s blog where he had snuck into the old factory before they renovated them into apartments. But all it really showed was how empty and run down the empty buildings had become. Along with a several piles of asbestos he was walking around in!
Maybe one day somebody will unearth a bunch, until then I’d say its slim pickings.
Sincerely,
Maverick

Nice photo, Vince. Thanks for sharing. Took me a minute FromTheWoods but I got it. LOL!
Looking at those old boxes stacked in the back for holding parts (?) and the other stuff in that room, it makes me wonder how many things I’ve seen at flee markets and antique stores, etc. that I *would* have bought had I known what they were. I could re-purpose a lot of that and it would be cool knowing it was all old Winchester stuff.
I bet there is a stash of photos out there somewhere.
I found this while searching Bing images. I’d prefer the job of the second from right: I also found several other photos of the old days, workers, etc. A few were at http://www.winchesterlofts.com/gallery/ And there are others on Bing Images with proper searches.
Notice they appear to be young eyes? The guy on the left is the oldest, he has pinups above his shooting window.
I see it is August but I can’t see the year on their calendars.
