I recently sent Bert this Model 94’s serial number for his survey. When my friend came to my home yesterday he brought it with him and wanted to know if I would like to purchase it. From just the short time I’ve been a member I already knew a few things. It’s been re-blued for one. Also I think the sling swivels have been added. The bore is nice and bright, showing rifling. The action is not loose at all. I think the owners father hunted with it. Anyway what I’m throwing out on the forum, is it worth buying and what do you think I should offer. I’d like to hunt with it.

Nice looking rifle in one of my favorite chamberings but it won’t appeal to most collectors. If it shoots good and you want a good looking levergun to hunt with I think it should serve you well.

Don,

In my personal opinion, it is a $300 gun at best. Too many thing about it that are not original.
