Rick, seek sales histories on Internet. Outfit “Cherry’s” (sp?) does or did specialize in such Winchester Commemoratives.
Kindly note, two situations having to do with “originality and condition”. Condition 1: The “collectible genre’ & associated values, for absolutely original and ‘as new’ condition. Box, accessories (whatever may be), paperwork, etc.; also contributing to such collector value.
The rifle ‘not’ in such condition as above described; Condition 2. “Also Ran!” moving to subsequent, figuratively, “cliff value descent”. Generally lower altitude ’64 & post genre. Condition and originality still usually playing factor. “Bubba”, non-originality factor(s), if any & to what extent, possible further descent, picture potential.
Likely easier if circumstance one above as ‘fitting’ in terms of yet established market. Latter, more wild card and often value best determined in retrospect!
Hopefully, someone along in this Forum with specific Model knowledge and at least a “Condition 1” (my designation) appraisal.
Good luck and…
Just my take!
