I don’t normally purchase rifles, Iam into hand guns mostly. I just purchased a collection of guns that included a 94-25-35 WCF SER # G1592407, It looks like new wondering what value it would be? also got a model 70 XIR Light 30-06 SPRG ser. #G1592407 Looks like its never been fired. rifles aren’t my norm, I collect mouse guns .32 .25 etc. thanks for any info
Your Model 94 is a 1948 production Flat-band Carbine. “Looking like new” and actually being “Like new” are quite often not the same thing, as refinishing an older Model 94 is not uncommon. Clear pictures of the markings on the barrel and top of the receiver would help determine what the actual condition is.
Your Model 70 is a post 1963 production rifle, and the top end of the value range is approximately $550.

Bert I’m not doubting what you said but these pictures are so dark and such really small files I can’t even blow them up to see.
Chuck,
My photo editing software program allows me to increase the picture size, and to regain some of the clarity.

Yes those pics are dark and don’t show some of the areas we’d like to look at. The gun looked good to me in those few pics. The wood looked proud on the tang. The replaced front site and missing hood don’t bother me much. I like the caliber. Refinished is a turn off, but if the price was right, I’d add it to my stable of ones I hunt with.
Shoot low boys. They're riding Shetland Ponies.
