Can anyone help me with a good repro? I found several on ebay but bad pictures etc. Hoping someone purchased a good one recently and can help! Thanks, Chris

I’m far from being an expert, but these look pretty good to me: https://homesteadparts.com/shop/saddle-ring-and-stud-winchester-1876-1886-1894-1895-p-805.html?cPath=87_95

Thanks Frank, I found that one too. Their advertising picture shows the ring to be noticeably out of round! So that was a concern.

If you look at all the other saddle rings on their website, they all look better from a roundness standpoint.  I’m guessing the one they photographed for their website was an exception, and most are probably just fine.  Worth the $29 risk in my opinion.

What condition would you say your carbine receiver is in?  Does your gun have a plug screw?  I am looking for an original 94 S.R.C. plug screw. Thanks, RDB

Mine is going on a Browning 1886 repro carbine that has the ring holder but no ring.
