Recently purchased an 1886 in 33wcf. The rear sight appears a standard #22 but instead of a notched insert the sight has an insert with a peep hole in it. Can anybody shed some light on this sight?

Looking for model #’s for 2 lever action guns.
The one with a rear sight has a serial #457687
The hex barrel has no serial #
oops, need some help as to how to add the picture file.
