I know this might be a long shot…but I picked up a Winchester Model 71 today and it is the only rifle ever chambered for the 348 Winchester cartridge. And that cartridge is the only one that uses a .348 bullet. I can’t find them in stock anywhere.
Jacketed or lead….I’m open to all offers.
I found brass at Buffalo Arms so that isn’t an issue…
Can ya help a fella out?

Thanks!
Dropped into a small local gun shop and he had four boxes of Hornady 200g bullets that he claimed he had for nearly 50 years!
Sold them to me for $20 a box…
A fellow on another list sent me a box of Barnes 250g bullets and won’t take any $$ for them! I’m having a hard time figuring out how to repay him.
Lastly, another fellow is sending me a few boxes for a very reasonable price….
Got lots of bullets now
Phil,
The Whitney Kennedy is a hoot to shoot. I found a “ring” lever and swapped them out and I used it at a Cowboy Action shoot a few weeks ago. Ain’t gonna win any competition as the lever throw is amazingly long. Even with 36″ sleeve length I can barely lever it from the shoulder!
With 44-40 black powder loads it is quite accurate and runs beautifully.
Great fun and HUGE style points at the match!
Sounds like a lot of fun. Long lever throw is probably the worst feature on them It looks especially awkward with the old lever.
The W/K certainly looks like a weird ugly duckling next to a Winchester, but I was always curios about them and now having a 44 WCF and 32 WCF , I have a real respect for them. Kinda like a “Russian Tank” model next to an 1873, lacking grace and speed, but have good attributes as a safe working, accurate firearm , fun to shoot ,and the curio weirdness grew on me
Phil
