I am looking for some help.  I have a model 70 Palma action only with bolt.   It has the 2 external trigger adjustment screws.  I am looking for information on what trigger I can use to put in.  Would like a few pictures if anyone has some also

Not really certain what you are requesting. Do you want info on the Palma trigger or what other triggers would fit it?  The Palma action with 2 external adjustment screws is the same action as used on the Ultra Match models, which had the same trigger set up. Any aftermarket or factory model 70 trigger will fit this action, albeit, you will lose the external adjustment capability. One caveat with aftermarket triggers for the 70 concerns Canjar triggers. Many of these required a modification to firing pin as well.

I would be happy to provide pictures, but need to know what exactly you want pictures of?

I am looking for more information on the Palma match trigger and gun it’s self.  My serial number dates 1975.  Hoping i can find the parts to make it work like it was origional before I go to a aftermarket trigger.  I would like pictures of how the trigger group is installed in the action also. It looks like to add a factory model 70 trigger the underside of the Palma action will have to be milled out under where the 2 Allen screws are. So the trigger spring and sear adjustment bolt fit right.

Thanks carl

Carl, Here is a picture of the Palma trigger group. It is basically a modified standard trigger. I hope this helps. There was a recent post in the last few weeks concerning these rifles and a brief history was included. The 1968 Palma did not use this trigger, just the 1971 and ’76 models.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for the pictures. I hope I can find something to make it work.  Or if anyone knows of where I can find one to buy please let me know.   Thanks Carl

Carl, Good luck with your search. I have never seen one of these triggers for sale apart from the rifle. I think your best bet might be to try to make one by modifying a factory piece.
