Yup.When I ordered the book, they told me delivery in Canada , would be in July and they told the truth.Smile

Would love to see a book like this done, on the Winchester Model 64.Smile

I am currently working on a Model 64 chapter for a future reference book… but no schedule on when it will be complete.  The Model 64 survey now has just shy of 2,300 specimens in it.  I would like to get to at least 5,000 before making any hard conclusions.

I am not sure why I stated the survey was just shy of 2,300?  The actual number in the survey is currently 2,722, leaving me just shy of 2,300 to reach the 5,000 goal number.

Great to hear Stefan!

Yours almost looks like the same rifle, very similar.

Thanks again!

The SN of mine is only 2 Numbers away from the rifle in your great book (409376). I´m shure there is a TD .405 with SN 409375 still out there. Maybe more? Mine have the Number “20” (Inventory number?) engraved on the top.

Regards

Stefan

That’s really neat Stefan.  It might make for interesting research to learn more about those particular rifles.

Glad to hear that you like the book!

Brad do you know someone that has front sight blades?  My gun shoots about 12″ high at 100 yards.  I have taken the rear sight elevator out and it still shoots this high.  I need a taller frond blade but I haven’t measured what I have.  Doesn’t appear to have been removed before.

Hi Chuck

I’ve made them before out of brass (I think) stock you can get at a hardware store or the like.  You could also try Mike Richard, who has a business card ad in the back of our magazine.
