Rob and I will also have the book at the WACA Cody Show, July 12-14, 2019. We will be signing all copies—whether ordered online or received from us in person.
The book is a leather bound hardcover with 432 full-color pages. WACA members will see this ad in the spring issue of The Winchester Collector:
We are fortunate to have received Model 1895 information from many of you over the course of researching and writing this book. Several WACA forum members have also helped a great deal with specific research questions, contributions and in proofreading much of our work. We are most grateful for the assistance of several museum and university libraries and archives, along with our good friends at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The book includes excellent contributions from guest authors as well. This project could not have been completed without everyone’s generous help and support.
This book contains a wealth of information on the Model 1895—among the most interesting of all Winchesters to the authors and its many collectors, in both its design and manufacture, along with the historical period of which it was a part. The Model 1895 configurations and components are thoroughly covered, along with accoutrements and cartridges. We were fortunate to cite and include many primary source documents, drawings and photographs from the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, much of it never before published. In addition, a great deal of important and interesting information for collectors of other contemporary Winchester lever actions is found throughout the book as well.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions using the contact form on our website or by email:

Thanks guys. We’ve had a lot of help along the way from people here on the forum and a number of you have been patiently waiting for the book to be finished. Model 1895 collectors are a dedicated group. We made a great effort to be comprehensive and to offer something new for Model 1895 enthusiasts wherever possible. However, the book covers many interesting things for collectors of other Winchesters from the 1890s-1930s as well, including, but not limited to, company history, materials and manufacturing, factory records, and cartridges, along with people and events in that very interesting and historical period of time. Thanks again!
Brad,
Congratulations on the successful completion of the book! I would like to take personal delivery of my copy at the Cody show…
Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you and Rob put forth to bring this much needed reference book to fruition!

Stop it, Rick! Our books won’t be here for several weeks and some of us don’t like to wait, lol. I’ll admit the 1895 is my least favorite Winchester lever gun (if there is such a thing) but at the same time it’s one of the most interesting Winchesters. I’m glad Rob and Brad have undertaken this task and I’m looking forward to sitting down with my copy.
