Winchester m1917|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

Good evening,

I’m looking into buying my first Winchester in the form of a December, 1917 M1917. However, from what I’ve heard there are issues with early production M1917 Winchesters. Can anyone confirm or deny that and elaborate? Unfortunately I also can’t see this rifle in person before buying because it’s online.
