Winchester 94 - Halifax prison guard?|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

The Flat-bands were manufactured from July 1946 through December 1948.  The serial number on the subject gun will tell us which specific year it was manufactured.

In regards to the connection to the Halifax prison, that will require verifiable documentation in order for it to enhance the value.  The article I wrote about the Flat-band Carbine production is in the Winter 2018 Collector magazine.
