Hi, can anybody tell me more about this rifle? Inherited it from my late grandfather. Does it have any value other than stock shelf price, collector?

You will need to post clear HD pics of the entire rifle to get an accurate evaluation. Being a guest, you will need to use a 3rd party hosting site for your pics. such as Imgur.

From early 1934 @ 43K Sn w/”A” suffix… Winchester Model 54!
The O/P’s rifle by SN one of the “post production” rifles could have been anytime well into Model 70 prewar production era… To my opinion & belief! 🙂 Potentially very nice collector rifle depending on originality & condition!
My take and adding voice, request to O/P for photos potentially offering additional ‘opines’!
