I had no phone reception, so had to go by my own judgement. sorry about the photos phone shots, but the gun looks better then the picks, 90% shiny barrel blue little dull on receiver, exc wood and bore.

how did i go, does the gun look good to you guys, payed what would be in US $ ABOUT $2100.

Thanks Tony

It looks good. I’m not sure if the rear sight is correct. I used a .405 that had been in my family for 5 generations on a remote hunting trip in Alaska and whacked a Caribou with it. Fun times.

Shoot low boys. They're riding Shetland Ponies.

I think you did real good.  I’ve seen other .405’s with that same rear sight.  Decent .405’s aren’t that common.  I’ve seen problem .405 sell for a good amount more than $2100.

Let me just add, when it comes to the .405, I very much prefer a shotgun butt.

The one that is in out family has a crescent butt. The older boys didn’t care for shooting it when we were young. It’s the same gun I killed a caribou with in 1996. Wasn’t bad then, but I’m all growed up.
