Congrats on inheriting such a wonderful Winchester. If it is indeed an 1894, we do know from the serial # it was manufactured in 1895 which makes it a 2nd year production. The low serial # is desirable and helpful but based upon other factors the value could be in the hundreds or thousands! No matter which end it falls on I still think that is a wonderful inheritance 😀
Good news is Bert literally wrote the book on gun values so you are good hands if you can upload us pictures for him to assess! Look forward to seeing those pics and Bert’s opinion!
