I have a question, is the stock on a 1886 semi deluxe smaller at the crescent than the stock on a regular crescent 1886, thanks! I have a picture side by side but cannot post, unfortunately!
They use the same butt plates, but the early 86s had a larger stock, the butt plates had a slight turn down at the toe

I am interested in this rifle, but do not have the knowledge to know its worth, would you be open to give me an estimate of what it would be worth! I have pictures but cannot post, would you be open to sending pictures to your email and giving me an opinion, thanks. Rifle in question is a 1886, half round barrel, Lyman 21 with folding rear sight, decent finish, decent bore, 40-65! Thanks
