OfflineI saw a late 1970’s carbine that has been engraved and has amazing wood. it has no buttplate, but the end of the stock has been checkered. it is in a light green canvas covered hard case with Winchester marked on the outside. inside the case is 2 pictures of the engraving for both sides of the gun. it is 4 million serial range. my question is could this be original Winchester work. has anyone seen something like this? what is a value? thanks
