Win 71 spotted...|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

If anyone is looking for a good “shooter” grade Winchester Model 71… contact Pinto’s gun shop in Renton, Wa.  I was in there yesterday… the bad: the buttstock has “custom” carving on it… a rose on one side and an oak leaf cluster on the other side.  The good news, original butt plate is there and it has a Lyman 56A receiver sight… overall, bluing is 85%… best part, the price is $1,200.  It’s on consignment, so there’s no dickering on the price.  Rifle isn’t mine… I don’t have any financial interest in this whatsoever… Chris the the shop manager and is a good guy… just thought I’d share in case someone had a butt stock laying around in need of a rifle.  Cheers!  Ben
