OfflineI picked this up at the swap meet today, hoping it would fit my latest project. the wrist area is a bit narrow on a 1912 winchester 94 rifle. I need a buttplate but the contour ends with a curve on top. does this look like a factory stock? it’s also very light, a guy at the swap meet said maybe it’s gum wood? thanks.

OfflineLooks like it had tacks in it. You need to show the inletting to see if its original wood or homemade.

OfflineIt does not look like the typical 94 stock inletting I’ve seen.
