Somebody cut up what was most likely a perfectly good Model 92 Carbine and tried to turn it into a Take Down. The markings on the take down lever and bottom of the receiver frame are highly likely to be faked.

Well the seller made me a great offer for me to get it for the low low price of $850.00! 
I’m thinking I’ll pass on this “Express Takedown” for now. I thought about writing him back tell him I would’ve bought it but that its missing the original Roosevelt express takedown sights.
It kind of reminds me of Turnbull’s takedown model 76s they’ve made. They look nice and well functionable, but why ruin a perfectly good rifle. Which I suppose when Turnbull got the gun, it wasn’t perfectly good for him to be doing a resto/mod to it.
