Yes, a very typical product of the Winchester Custom Shop.
But if you care to see what REAL desecration looks like, check out what some AH did to this 1926 National Match ’03: http://www.jouster.com/forums/showthread.php?63365-M1903-National-Match-deer-rifle

This will make you shake your head!
But for the piece itself being such a gizmo dog, it might otherwise be the ‘poster rifle’ for the saying: “Buy the gun, not the story!” Yet realistically, who the heck would want such a gun! Just incredible!
My take
Well, because he labeled it a “sniper rifle” I’m sure he has the interest of some very novice buyers. However, his price has just eliminated them. For the money he is asking you can buy a real “sniper rifle”…………. In a real sniper caliber. The money spent to rechamber and fit a box magazine is completely unrecoverable. Realistically he would be lucky to get $400. for that abomination. Just my 2 cent opinion!
