I have been told there was 1 and only 1 made in 405, but were there any 1895 SRCs made in 35?
The carbine was listed in catalogs in 30govt (30-40), 30-03, 30-06, and 303 Brit. but never say never with Winchester, there’s a 405 carbine in Dunbar’s 1895 book and in another book there is a rumor of 1 or 2 in 35. A rarity in the any caliber not listed in the catalogs.

I suppose the .405 carbine in Dunbar’s book was likely the one Merz sold many years back.
Unless there are (2) two .405 Carbines, the 405 carbine was sold by Rob Kassab. Or if whomever bought it and with the changing of hands was then resold by LeRoy Merz.
