I recently saw a very early deluxe model 64. I know the early model 64 had the narrow forearm but did t h e deluxe model narrow forearm have the standard sling swivels attached similar to later model deluxe 64

I’ve always seen them integrated into the fore-end cap, regardless of the width of the wood. Bert will certainly have more to say on this but that’s my recollection.

Yes they did.  The nose caps were same regardless of the forend stock width size.

So the one I viewed did not have any sling swive;s. On nose cap or butt stock. Possibly made up?

Certainly very suspicious.  Did the pistol grip have a black hard rubber cap on it?

I believe it did. Looked like a deluxe 94 PG checked stocks. I should have taken photo now I am trying to remember if it had crescent butt or notYell
