Hi everybody,

I have a huge interest in the 1886 model, in 50-100-450 WCF. Unfortunately it is hard to find anything on it – Vintage advertisement, testominials, actual users… Etc.

Can anybody tell me what this particular version was intended for? The African market? But for what kind of game then? North America? Kodiak bears?

Any info would be very helpful…

go to the “publications” section of the this website and then to the “collector magazine” from the summer of 2012. There is a good article on the Model 1886, 50-100-450 writtten by my friends Tom Adams and Jim Paul (now deceased).
