Myself an NRA Life Member since 1958 (really) and current Benefactor Member. That said, not paying much attention to NRA anymore beyond perusing Rifleman magazine. Errors noted. Such expertise lapse reflecting our wider era of ‘product decline’. From toasters to tech journalism! Small errors to large ones. Worst example noted, in Rifleman historic guns article describing the Remington Model 720, a rare rifle. Not to go into details, but a substantial and glaring error, only conclusion the writer had never examined nor likely viewed the rifle in sixty second detail. As about all, not the NRA of even two decades ago. Not casting blame, just factually, less reliable in context of many details collectors consider important!
