Buenos dias Jose,
Bienvendo a WACA. I have been working on a research survey of Model 1892’s for more than 7 years now and have not seen a stock marked like that. In the US the abbreviation RR would indicate a railroad. I have found a number of 44 WCF caliber carbines which were supposedly used on Argentine railroads but none of them have that stamp on the stock. Do you have this complete rifle?

Hi Twobit
Unfortunately I only own the stock
From 2005 to the present the government has a disarmament program.
You can not imagine the new and antique weapons that have been delivered for destruction.
Among those weapons was the rifle that carried this stock .-
NRVV does not correspond to any railroad in Argentina
FFAA, FDS, FDFS, are some of the Argentine rail lines
At some point searching on Google NRVV gave a result of a Virginia Regiment (USA) but I could not find it again
