I bought another 94, that I couldn’t resist at 500.00$ I thought I was safe until further inspection and discovered the butcher job on the side mount scope. however the gun is tight, Super clean bore Etc. if y’all wanna see it let me know who to send pictures to so they can be posted. Been gone a minute forgot alot of how it works around here.
The more I look at it the more worthless I feel.

I’m certain Big Larry meant no harm. He’s not quite right in the head this week–just coming off a scare last week in which he was over the top with anxiety, wondering and worrying where his to-be-delivered-Winchester was. He’ll likely be back to his “normal” self soon, but I’m not sure that will slow his posting of the remainder of that block of cheese.
Have you shot your latest Winchester yet? That might help relieve some of the negative feeling.
no havent shot it, but will at the first oppurtunity. Its an SRC ca. 26′ it will look cool lying around the camp. Good conversation piece, a lesson for others on what not to do. I know he was joking, im just overly sensitive at the moment due to some unknown dumbass with a drill press and a tap.

So you took the scope base off and discovered the issues with the holes? You can’t see the butchery with the scope mount back on? If that’s the case, I would just use it with the scope. If it’s to be used in deer camp, it doesn’t need to meet collector’s standards. Personally, I dislike reblued guns and even as a shooter/hunter, I would be staring at the reblue all the time. With something like this, if it is hidden… it makes a difference if I don’t have to see it. Yes, one still knows it is there but not all aspects of life are perfect
Im nut butt hurt, Just bien a smartass. and yes the one pictured above is a tragedy. I was hoping for only two out of place holes got four instead. yes the scope will stay on. but yea why would you not buy the correct mount. It will end up bieng the coolest lil truck gun. Ive made peace with it.

Not a problem! Every collector needs a few shooters so the safe queens don’t have to go hunting or to the range. I’ll bet your Swiss cheese gun could tell better stories than most safe queens.
