Because Cody Firearms Museum makes money off serial number searches, which is not a bad thing. But if you buy either the Gordon or Ed Lewis book, you basically have it or the same information. I also image the copyright publication fees / reproduction fees owed to the Museum would not make it cost effective to do so.
