Not exactly Winchester per se, but this was such a great book, thought I’d just return to share.

Note: There is a Fourth Edition by Wayne Zwoll but not available. Check out bottom of page for a few additional miscellaneous publications available.

Hint: Within above Website scroll down to “Downloads” on a right side box & select your preference. I used simply “PDF” and it worked. Some Internet Browsers may not work or require tweaking. Google Chrome worked for me.

This book–like everything written by De Haas–is outstanding! He provides a mechanical engineer’s explanation of how everything “works”–how the bolt locks up, the cams, extractor, & ejector do their jobs, the weak & strong points of every action. Nothing else like it I’ve seen.
But how I wish he had included the Model 52!
