This book–like everything written by De Haas–is outstanding! He provides a mechanical engineer’s explanation of how everything “works”–how the bolt locks up, the cams, extractor, & ejector do their jobs, the weak & strong points of every action. Nothing else like it I’ve seen.
But how I wish he had included the Model 52!
