I know this is not a good picture but thought I’d get opinions anyway!

What model & type of rear sight is this?

And what model Winchester would it go to?

Sincerely,

Maverick

(P.S. I’m pretty sure I already Know but wanted opinions and figured it’d be a little fun to ask everybody!)

Bob,

Do you know when the 3C elevator started being produced?

Maverick,

Near as I can figure it showed up in the 1929 catalog on the 22f sight for the 54.

The sporting rear sight would also fit a 76, would it not?

I would imagine the 76 had them since they were produced in the same time frame. It has the standard 3/8″ dovetail .

Bob is correct regarding both the sight and the elevator.  The 3C was first offered as a special for some rear sights in 1929.  It was later used as the standard elevator on the model 64 and the model 94.  The Madis book mentions that there were three different variations made.
